Storm work either drains or it does not, and the difference is a matter of inches at the structure. Rims and inverts are checked against the plan before anything is backfilled.

Do you install detention chamber systems?

Yes. Chamber and pipe detention systems are installed to the manufacturer's bedding and backfill requirement, which usually governs over the general trench detail.

Is inlet protection included?

Erosion control shown on the plan is carried in the base bid, including inlet protection and its maintenance during construction. Quantities beyond what the plan draws are billed as added work.

Can you tie in roof drains from the building?

Yes. Downspout collection drains are installed from the stub-out location the architectural or plumbing sheet shows to the storm structure on the civil set.
